Everything arrived early! So early I was not ready. I was told I would be able to schedule delivery, NOPE. The driver called when he was 20 minutes away....I was at work and had to run home. I was not allowed to open and inspect product before getting it off the truck, and was told, once it's off the truck there us NO REFUSING IT!?!?... I still have not received one item of my order. I am a little frustrated by that. My representative said it was back ordered and would be drop shipped. I called the manufacturer for clarification, still have not heard anything from them....Sure hope it shows up! It is a heater kit that is essential for cold weather operations.

AP had the better price that I found but was charged an extra $116.00 shipping because of my area. The delivery truck had no problem with where I lived. The shipping company just assumed it was going to be difficult delivery and AP passed the charges to me so the discounted price was nulled some by the unexpected shipping charge. I think the delivery company should refund me the extra charge now that they realized it was a normal delivery on paved roads and concrete driveway.

I was told while purchasing that the generator would be delivered Saturday, May 16, but shipper tracking indicated it would arrive Tuesday, May 19. Not terrible, but not great either. Crate arrived and I could see the battery, the generator and the transfer switch, but I could not see the maintenance kit with oil. It may be there once we unpack the crate. Otherwise it all looks good until we start it up for the first time in a couple weeks.

The product came 3 weeks after I ordered it. Almost 4 weeks. When I called to contact customer service about the problem, they were not friendly at all. I would not recommend buying from them unless you really need to.

Fred was amazing and helped all he could. Your carrier received my product on 9/13 and it was supposed to be delivered by 9/15. The carrier didn't reach out to deliver the product until 9/16 and it was delivered on 9/17. I had to move my installer back by almost 2 weeks now because it wasn't here on time.

My delivery was supposed to happen within 3 days of shipping. Should have arrived on March 30th/31st. Technical support and sales dept were good. Time zone different is normal issue for speaking to staff. My complaint which has not been resolved is about not receiving an operator's manual with a $5k generator. Or a response to the request for one. A printed manual is a reasonable request.

I was calling to get information on home generators and availability. I was looking for a 10-12 kw generator that would be available in 3-4 weeks. The sales person I spoke to was vague about availability, and seemed preoccupied and anxious for me to get off of the phone. The 12 kw generator I was asking about included a transfer switch. He couldn't give me the model or even verify that it was an automatic transfer switch.

AP supervisor canceled my order after Bread took my deposit which caused me to do it all over again and delayed shipping. Sales person was 100% all the way. Shipping tracking and delivery information is very weak. T Force said I would get shipping on 9, 10 and now 11 December. I am waiting to see if they show up.

Delivery date and method were uncertain. The Aftership tracking service did not provide any updates on shipping details. I had requested a smaller lift truck that would fit in my driveway rather than an eighteen wheel rig but the order came in a very large truck after a single phone call alert on the day of delivery. The drop off had to be quickly arranged for an alternate address, rather than my home. I had to provide the transportation onto my property. The driver was nice and very helpful in unloading the order onto the back of my pickup truck.

Overall I would recommend them. They did a great job and everything arrived on time....except for the paper copy of the Installation Manual for the generator. Yes, that is the responsibility of the manufacturer but I would have hoped they could have one around hey could send to me. Nope. Out of luck....download your own copy.

I live in NewYork. I have a home in CA where EV car will reside. I was going to be at the home in CA until Thursday morning. You say ship 3-5. Had to call as link never said shipped. Asked to fed X and I’d pay. Told the kind Person on phone who was terrific I would be in CA only until Thursday. It arrived Thursday night. So the electrician Could finish installation. Mayor disappointment. Employee was just a middle man sharing this is a new warehouse etc.

I ordered My 24 kw generator in March did not get it till June , I was to get a free 2200 watt gas generator when installed by a curtain date ,I called your store and the guy told me not to worry Generac extended the date ,I said ok . when the Generator was completely in I called Generac to try and get my free generator they would not do it, said I should have called them not your company. No truck delivery with hydraulic lift gate. Delivered by van 500 lb. Generator I had to help muscle from van to ground and I am 73 years old. Not happy it was a residential delivery and the guy asked if I had a forklift. One driver in a van where is your company’s common sense !!! Not installed yet

Had the different diesel generator filters I needed; easy to find online. Fedex delivered the product to my mailbox, instead of my home, in spite of instructions on the mailbox to bring to house, which is some distance away.

Hurricane Florence did have an effect on the shipping time, but the product should have arrived before it hit. Website said it was available for immediate shipping. In my mind, immediate means within hours of receiving order it is on its way. I expected it to ship out Monday morning. In reality, it meant it gets picked up by shipper on Tuesday and then you are subject to their shipping schedule. We ordered or a Sunday and expected to get it by that Thursday -- hopefully 1 day before the storm hit our area. It did not arrive until 4 days after storm had left the area. However that information did not get to the shipper correctly and when I contacted them several days after they had my generator, they said they had been trying to contact me yet I had no messages and or missed calls. Called AP Electric prior to purchase asking questions about four possible generator candidates being considered. Sales representative seemed knowledgeable about each product. However of those three where out of stock with only one listed as such on there website. Even though the call was only about five minutes in duration sales rep stated phone call was taking too long. Ordered Generac Generator. Customer support was interrupted due to storms so understandable. After I received, Manual shows that the generator "may" come with the external whips for connecting the generator. Contacted customer service and they said Generac does not include them anymore. They need to specify this on description of product. Tough to get what you need in a remote location so would want that information clear as crystal of what is or isn't included with order.

AP Electric needs to conduct a review of their tracking methods used to provide shipping status to customers! I have received the item ordered but updates from AP Electric indicate the item has not yet shipped. When I looked at the item I was looking at to purchase a Kohler 400 amp Auto Transfer Switch, the page clearly said Free Shipping. When placing the order, it indicated that I was being charged $49.99 for shipping. When using the chat, I asked the question about free shipping and was told that this product did not qualify for free shipping. I replied that the page that described the product I wanted to purchase clearly stated Free Shipping, I got not response. I asked still on chat a couple of times if they were going to reply, no reply.

The only real problem I had was with the tracking number they gave me. When I tried to track my order I was told they could not find a matching number. Great selection and great price. Item was shipped in a reasonable amount of time. The shipping company said they had lost the generator. Then they said they had it a week later. They would be transferring it to a different company for delivery and that company would call to schedule the delivery date. They just showed up and delivered it when we weren’t home. That meant we had to lift the almost three hundred pound box up from the ground. Not the best shipping.

I made purchasing decisions by looking at the pictures, something you recommend not to do! But the information given wouldn't verify and previously the customer service rep said he could not verify because the engine I needed parts for was discontinued. The parts I needed were in fact the correct parts! It's great that AP has parts for my engines since I have five of them in great working order but for a few minor parts.

The packaging for the generator was partially damaged when it arrived. One upper corner of the carton was completely destroyed. It was securely fastened to a wooden pallet and the generator does not appear to have been damaged. I ran the generator last weekend and could not detect any operational problems. The generator runs smooth and relatively quiet. I am very satisfied with the Westinghouse 5500 so far.

Ordered a carbuerator for a generac generator. I received my order in a timely manner and it operaed well. I was disappointed that he carb. did not include the little plastic piece that belongs on the choke lever. My customer was also disappointedby this, so in order remedy this issue. I was forced to make an extra trip back to the shop. Great service, great product!

Shopping company would not deliver in a smaller box truck. Only in 48 foot tractor trailer. I had to meet the truck load it into my truck and deliver it myself. Obviously it was a pain I the butt. Also the R &L company didn't provide tracking. I happened to cal them to make sure they new to deliver in a small cargo truck, but none it it was handled properly

The date of delivery kept moving but I received the purchase around the time of the last update. I also didn't receive any contact regarding a delivery time setup. I just happened to be home on the day the truck arrived.

Only problem was I had to inquire about the status of my order before it was finally shipped. Items received timely after that, however I will not be able to comment on the GenPad or the interstate battery until my generator is installed and running, probably sometime in early June (waiting for HOA approval & city permit).

Overall the experience was positive. I ordered the generator online and was told to estimate 8-24 weeks for delivery. At the 8 week point, I sent an email asking for a status update. The email was never responded to, however I was notified immediately when the item shipped and from there, everything was smooth.

AP Electric showed they had the Generac part in stock, but did not, and had to backorder it from the Mfg. That delayed the shipment. but I eventually got the charging circuit board, and it worked.

The delivery presented challenges. The carrier had to get a smaller truck. They only dropped in carport, so I had to hire people to get it to it's location.
